About Marcos and Florencia

Marcos Pereira and Florencia Borgnia are Argentine tango dancers, teachers, and choreographers based in New York City. Five-time World Tango Championship finalists, they are Semifinalists in the 2023 World Championship and third in the 2024 Buenos Aires City Tango Championship. Dancing together since 2013, they each bring more than twenty years of experience to their partnership. Known for their elegance, musicality, and strong technical foundation, they teach and perform internationally, sharing their passion for tango’s connection and expressive possibilities.

Spend an evening learning and dancing Argentine tango with celebrated guest artists Marcos Pereira and Florencia Borgnia. Strengthen your foundations, explore creative figures, and enjoy a milonga with the Dance Fire community.

The evening

7–8 PM | Master Class with Práctica
Begin with 30 minutes of tango foundations, followed by 30 minutes of creative figures and dance steps, with opportunities to practice along the way.

8–9:30 PM | Milonga Social Dance
Put what you’ve learned into motion and enjoy an evening of social dancing.

Prices are per person and include both the master class and milonga. Admission is for the full evening; milonga-only tickets are not available.
