Zumba Class description

When? 6:00pm on Wed & 9:00am on Sat

ZUMBA® takes the “work” out of the workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why ZUMBA® Fitness classes are called exercise in disguise. Benefits include: a total body workout, combining all elements of fitness- cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosting energy and causing contagious smiles. Traditional ZUMBA® is instructed without a microphone and lead by non-verbal cueing to enjoy the sound of the music!

 

Private Fitness Sessions

Types of personalized fitness programs available:
- Functional & flexibility program for the well-adult
- Recovery from injury or illness
- Special population modified training
- Advanced sports training for advanced participants or for a specific sport/event
- Nutritional programs for weight loss, muscle gain or a medical condition.

All personal fitness programs include a specialized fitness assessment and re-assessment quarterly. Fitness assessment includes the following: medical questionnaire, resting heart rate and blood pressure measurement, circumference measurements, body composition measurements and flexibility measurement.
