Dance Fire celebrated a memorable visit to the Blackpool Dance Festival in May 2026. Bryan attended the festival for the first time with Dance Master Natalia, while studio owners Florin Vlad and Natalia O’Connor also participated in the festival.

Bryan and Natalia’s Smooth results

In Closed Smooth Singles, Bryan and Natalia made the final and placed fifth in every dance. They also earned fourth in the Closed Smooth Championship final.

Open Rhythm achievements

Bryan won Open Rhythm Cha-Cha, Swing, and Mambo and placed second in the Open Rhythm Championship. He presented Silver-level routines, making these results a special highlight of his first Blackpool experience.

More than a competition

The visit also included dinners with dance friends, an afternoon tea dance with live music at Blackpool Tower, and the Hall of Fame Blackpool Gala and Dinner Dance. The gala featured a four-course dinner, shows, and dancing to the Empress Orchestra.

Congratulations to Bryan and Natalia, and thank you to our studio community for celebrating the experience. Florin and Natalia’s participation also offered inspiration to bring back to Dance Fire.
